Looking for Outstanding Master’s Students to Apply for an FPU Fellowship
Are you finishing or starting your Master’s degree and interested in pursuing a PhD at the interface of materials science, chemistry, physics, nanotechnology, and electronics?
Our research group is looking for highly motivated and talented candidates interested in preparing an FPU (Formación de Profesorado Universitario) fellowship application to carry out a PhD within our team.
Successful candidates will join an interdisciplinary and international research environment working on multifunctional materials, molecular systems, and next-generation electronic devices.
Available Research Topics
1. Molecular Switches and Surface Functionalization
Develop innovative strategies to design and integrate molecular systems with functional surfaces for advanced electronic and sensing applications.
Research areas include:
- Molecular switches
- Surface functionalization
- Hybrid materials
- Molecular electronics
- Nanoscience and nanotechnology
2. Build the Next Generation of Electronic Sensors
Develop advanced sensing technologies based on organic electronics, field-effect transistors, and multifunctional materials.

- Organic electronics
- Electronic and electrochemical sensors
- OFETs and EGOFETs
- Electronic transducers
- Functional materials and devices
Who Should Apply?
Students currently enrolled in or completing a Master’s degree in:
